As many of you know my husband is currently serving in Korea with the air force. He has the possibility to come to Alaska for 2 weeks & I'm dying for the chance to see him! I'm trying to raise money for my plane ticket up there so I'm going to start a raffle: $1 gets you 1 entry, $5 gets you 6. I have to get at least $100 in entries to run the raffle. The prize is $100 gift card to my store

I need some new pictures of my products being used in real life! While my boys are cute, they seldom sit still anymore and they don't make for the best pictures!

So send me your pictures of any of my products that you use in real life, being used. Whether they are being worn by your child, used by you, taken in the car on the way to soccer practice, I want to see them! Photos will be judged by a non-biased panel based on the creativity and functionality of the photos.

Due to a recent series of events, I will be cutting WAYYYY back on custom orders. My husband will be switching shifts & we are moving Jan 10th. Also, as many of you may not know, my older son was diagnosed with autism in Oct & has reached a point where he is need more & more attention. We are adjusting to the new diagnosis, though it doesn't come as a shock because we have known since he was 9mo old, it is still an adjustment to add more therapies & preschool. As he gets older, he is starting to realize he isn't the same as other kids his age & is not doing well with it. Thank you for all your continued support & keep an eye out for great in stock items!

Starting January 1st, I will mainly only be taking custom orders of letters. If you would like someting custom made, you will be able to request one. Ok so really it's a twist on an old product but it's now my favorite!

Knit over soakers!

Basically it's an extremely cute knit material (very very popular prints in the cloth diaper world) over my fleece soakers- which to remind you is the underwear looking fleece bottoms. These are great to wear anytime of day- I love to dress my boys in these! I have matching shirts & they make the CUTEST outfits! I also love that for the just in case leaks that can happen (try a 2yr old downing 32oz of water right before an hr drive- EEK) because his seat didn't get wet- only his little bottoms! & the best part is that they can go into the wash with the normal clothes- not like other cloth diaper covers that generally need to be washed a special way!

During the past year, I have added several new products & have perfected many of them. In my personal life I have changed a few things & it has opened a whole new world to me. There are many, many great things out there for cloth diapering moms & babes that I never would have found!

So to celebrate my 1 yr anniversary, I am adding new products!

Wetbags are great- they have a double purpose- If you use cloth diapers, they hold the dirties, & if you don’t , they can serve to hold wet clothes from swimming, leaking diapers or hold dirty clothes! My wetbags are made from 1mil PUL- PolyUrethane Laminate, a waterproof material, sewn separately from the outside which is made from super cute cotton print fabric. By sewing them separate, this prevents wicking of the moisture. Each bag is closed with a durable zipper to keep the smells in! They can have a snapping handle or a permanent loop.

Wetbags come in 5 different sizes- *PPD Means Postage Paid or shipping included*
XS: holds 1-2 diaps- 9ppd
Small: holds 3-5 diaps- 11ppd
Medium: holds 6-8 diaps- 14ppd

I use them every night with my boys. We never wake up to wet sheets anymore! Most will think of fleece as being warm, but it actually breathes really well. Save Handmade Toys From the CPSIA
A Proposal From the handmadetoyalliance.org:
In 2007, large toy manufacturers who outsource their production to China and other developing countries violated the public's trust. They were selling toys with dangerously high lead content, toys with unsafe small parts, toys with improperly secured and easily swallowed small magnets, and toys made from chemicals that made kids sick. Almost every problem toy in 2007 was made in China.
The United States Congress rightly recognized that the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) lacked the authority and staffing to prevent dangerous toys from being imported into the US. So, they passed the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) in August, 2008. Among other things, the CPSIA bans lead and phthalates in toys, mandates third-party testing and certification for all toys and requires toy makers to permanently label each toy with a date and batch number.
All of these changes will be fairly easy for large, multinational toy manufacturers to comply with. Large manufacturers who make thousands of units of each toy have very little incremental cost to pay for testing and updating their molds to include batch labels. For small American, Canadian, and European toymakers, however, the costs of mandatory testing, to the tune of up to $4,000 per toy, will likely drive them out of business. And the handful of larger toy makers who still employ workers in the United States face increased costs to comply with the CPSIA, even though American-made toys had nothing to do with the toy safety problems of 2007. Toy makers won't be the only ones impacted by the CPSIA, the thousands of US businesses who offer clothing, jewelry and other gifts for children --in essence-- the entire children's industry will be as well.
The CPSIA simply forgot to exclude the class of toys that have earned and kept the public's trust. The result, unless the law is modified, is that handmade toys will no longer be legal in the US.
Thriving small businesses are crucial to the financial health of our nation. Let's amend the CPSIA so that all businesses large and small are able to comply and survive!

Like many people, I was deeply concerned by the dangerous and poisonous toys that large Chinese toy manufacturers have been selling to our nations families. And, I was very pleased that Congress acted quickly to protect America's children by enacting the CPSIA.However, I am very concerned that the CPSIA's mandates for third party testing and labeling will have a dramatic and negative effect on small toymakers and in the USA, Canada, and Europe, whose toy safety record has always been exemplary. It will also devastate small manufacturers of children's clothes and other handmade goods for children.Because of the fees charged by Third Party testing companies, many manufacturers, especially makers of beautiful wooden toys and unique children's clothes from Maine to Oregon will be driven out of business. Their cottage workshops simply do not make enough money to afford the $4,000 price tag per toy that Third Party testers are charging.I urge you to quickly request the Consumer Product Safety Commission to make some very reasonable exclusions in their interpretation of the law as they continue their rulemaking process. For example, manufacturers should be able to rely on testing done by their materials suppliers instead of paying for redundant unit-based testing. I would also like to see an exemption to third party testing requirements for micro-businesses similar to the exemptions granted by the FDA for small producers under the food labeling laws.If you feel that testing should still be required, then the CPSC should be made to offer free testing services for small manufacturers.These toy makers and crafters have earned and kept the public's trust. Each Burp Rag is made from a 3-ply cloth diaper & Brother Sister Designs fabric. They are super absorbent & work AWESOME! (I have a major spitter & I only have to use one a day!) Not to mention they are cuter than the boring ones from the store & not everyone will have them!

Each picture is 11in tall by 9in wide & is carefully crafted to match your bedding set.

I can find pictures online, you can email me pictures or Make it even more personal with pictures of your children or their favorite items!

How it's made:

1" thick piece of wood is painted with coordinating base coat

pictures are printed off computer (touch ups are done by me so it is smooth & not grainy)

Pictures are attached to wood base with decopage solution & smoothed out with no bubbles

Pictures are clear coated & sealed to complete look
